You will immediately receive a reward for just signing up in addition to a Free Round of Golf that will be sent to you a week prior to your birthday. Those with a birthday's in the months of May, June, July, August, September, October can use their free round from the time you receive it until a week past your birthday.  Those with birthdays in the off-season, November through April can use it as follows; 1 Week before or after the same date as your birthday with November Birthdays used in May, December Birthdays in June. January Birthdays in July, February Birthdays in August, March Birthdays in September and April Birthdays in October.
