Elmira Golf Club Celebrates John Moyer in Best Ball Tournament

24 golfers came out today to celebrate and remember John Moyer. John, a long time Elmira Member, was famous for playing at 8:36am every Saturday and Sunday morning. The winners of the John Moyer 1-2-3 net best ball tournament was the team of Connor Cressman, Murray Martin, Ron Esch, and Martin Hynd with a score of 120. Closely behind was Jeff Legault, Ray Bullock, Byron Loney and Harry Barnes with a score of 121 followed by RJ Williams, Dave Slover, Kyle Wilson and Neil Schmidt with 129.

Also today was the ladies 1-2 net best ball. 11 golfers competed in that tournament which saw Pat Eldridge, Bev Nelson, and Adrianne Doucette taking the victory.
